StrongBox Data Solutions, Inc., provider of cognitive data management and archive solutions, announced that its parent company has completed a $27 million investment round which includes $20 million from the Fonds de solidarité FTQ, a $13 billion development capital investment fund, and additional funding from its controlling shareholder, Partner One Capital.

Trilio Data, Inc., received $5 million in a Series A funding round led by Boston-based .406 Ventures.

It provides a business assurance platform for IT organizations and cloud service providers deploying application workloads in both public and private clouds.

INFINIDAT Ltd closed a $95 million series C financing round.

The round was led by Goldman Sachs Private Capital Investing (PCI) with strong participation from series B leader, TPG Growth.

Leonovus Closes $1.5 Million Financing

LeoNovus Inc. closed a $1,500,000 financing by way of a non-brokered private placement for 30,000,000 units of the company at a price of CDN$0.05 per unit.

Each unit is one common share in the capital of the company and one common share purchase warrant. Each warrant is exercisable into one common share at a price of CDN$0.075 per common share for 18 months from the closing date of the offering. The TSXV granted conditional approval for this financing on September 19, 2017.

Aqua Closes $25M Funding Round for Container Security

Container security startup Aqua raised $25 million in Series B funding. Aqua CEO Dror Davidoff called it the “largest funding round to date” in the container security space, and it brings total investments in Aqua to $38.5 million.

Lightspeed Venture Partners led the latest round, with existing investors Microsoft Ventures, TLV Ventures, and Shlomo Kramer also participating. Microsoft led the Series A round in September 2016, which secured $9 million.

Nasuni Corp. closed $38 million in growth equity funding led by Goldman Sachs Growth Equity (GS Growth), a platform within Goldman Sachs’ Merchant Banking Division.

The investment follows another record quarter by Nasuni for new customer acquisition, expansion bookings from existing customers, and revenue.
