Vision Solutions, Inc., provider of business resilience solutions for IBM Power Systems and a portfolio company of Clearlake Capital Group, L.P., announced it has completed the acquisition of Enforcive Systems, Ltd. (formerly BSafe), provider of IT security and compliance management solutions with innovation on IBM i, IBM AIX, IBM z/OS, Windows and Linux platforms.
Microsoft Acquires Cloudyn to Optimize Cloud Usage
Microsoft will acquire cloud optimization company Cloudyn to help enterprises and service providers manage their investments in Azure. The deal is estimated to be worth between $50 million and $70 million, according to a report from Israeli business publication, the Calcalist. However, the official terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Cloudyn uses automated monitoring, analytics, and cost allocation technology to help organizations optimize usage of cloud services. The company can also provide forecasts of future cloud spending.
JFrog Acquires CloudMunch, the ROI Speedometer for Containers and DevOps

Microsoft Corp. has signed an agreement to acquire Hexadite, a company delivering agentless, automatic incident investigation and remediation solutions. The terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.

Rackspace Acquires TriCore Solutions
Rackspace has acquired TriCore Solutions, a managed services provider (MSP) focused on Oracle and SAP applications, the companies have confirmed. The move comes at a critical time for Rackspace, which has experienced a CEO change, layoffs and an ownership change in the past year.
On the executive front, Rackspace this week named Joe Eazor (photo, top) as its new CEO, succeeding Taylor Rhodes, who resigned earlier this month. Eazor formerly was CEO of EarthLink. He has also held key roles at EMC, HP and EDS.

Headquartered in Littleton, CO, Immersive Partner Solutions, Inc., is a cloud-based converged infrastructure monitoring and compliance company. NetApp will integrate its IP into its FlexPod solutions to help customers simplify and automate life cycle management and enhance its converged infrastructure position. Founder, president and CEO Keith Barto is now director of product management, converged infrastructure group, at NetApp. Prior to Immersive Partner Solutions, he was at Cisco from 2006 to 2013 and senior consutant of Xiotech from 2003 to 2005.
VMware Acquires Mobile Analytics Startup Apteligent
One month after acquiring Wavefront, VMware today announced that it has acquired Apteligent, which is focused on the analytical insights related to mobile applications. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
The Apteligent platform helps organizations analyze mobile applications in real-time, understand end-user behavior related to those applications, and helps address any issues before they impact business outcomes, wrote Shekar Ayyar, EVP of strategy and corporate development at VMware in a blog post.
