Western Digital Announces Acquisition of Upthere

Western Digital Corp. (NASDAQ: WDC) and Upthere, Inc. announced today that Western Digital has completed the asset acquisition of Upthere, a leading cloud services company that is providing a new and better way to keep, find and share what’s important and meaningful to consumers. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Western Digital Acquiring Tegile

Western Digital Corp. and Tegile Systems, Inc. entered into a definitive agreement under which Tegile, provider of flash and persistent-memory storage solutions for enterprise data center applications, will be acquired by Western Digital.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition is expected to close the week of September 4, 2017, upon satisfaction of certain closing conditions as set forth in the definitive agreement between the parties.

Juniper Networks Acquires Security Firm Cyphort

Juniper Networks today said it’s acquiring Cyphort, a security startup that serves mid- and large-size enterprise customers. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Santa Clara, California-based Cyphort was founded in 2011. And it’s raised $53.7 million in funding in four rounds, according to Crunchbase.
