Highlights of Cisco Live 2017

It was a fabulous week at Cisco Live. This event is known for providing the knowledge enterprises need to flourish in their respective digital business.  Other than being an inspiration, Cisco Live also brings opportunities to meet numerous technology innovators, thousands of education sessions, IT visionary leaders, important partners of Cisco, and various opportunities to connect with relevant people and flourish business.

This year Cisco Live will be joined by thousands of IT and business leaders from across the globe. Like every year Cisco Live is committed to build connections, drive professional growth and empower innovation. Cisco Live 2017 is all about the champions, sultans and gurus of IT. Cisco Live is calling them Superheroes of IT.

I really enjoyed some of the sessions and different sections in Cisco Live 2017. Innovation Showcase: Data & Application Mobility: Embrace Hybrid Cloud with Confidence and Innovation Showcase: Dell EMC and Cisco Joint Innovations Driving IT Transformation were my favourites. Not to mention, the welcome keynote from Chuck Robbins was really insightful and thought provoking.

This year I really enjoyed World of Solutions @ Cisco Live. It was full of energy with lots of information about latest innovation happening within Cisco and its partner network. This year at the World of Solutions we witnessed:

Cisco Campus – It showcased Cisco’s solutions, products, services, and technologies. It was full of learning opportunities, one-on-one discussions, and interactive activities.

DevNet Zone – It was a good opportunity for DevNet developers to get hands-on with every element of the DevNet developer program.

Innovation Showcase – Cisco’s latest product and service innovations were showcased here, along with customer case studies.

Meet the Expert – Amazing opportunity to meet and have a 1:1 conversation with Cisco experts and discuss your unique questions and challenges.

Calsoft has been regularly attending Cisco Live events. Given our interest in the Storage and Networking industry, this is the conference we cannot miss. This year Cisco Live at Las Vegas was very insightful for us. We have noted our action items for next couple of months, thanks to Cisco Live and my fellow professionals we met there. We will surely look forward to attend this event next year as well.
