Kubernetes, undoubtedly, has emerged as a solution which is potentially being treated as an operating system to manage complex IT workloads (mainly containerized ones) and dynamic resources provisioning, scaling, and seamless automation using APIs. This year, it has been observed that there were about $60 billion worth of mergers and acquisitions in open source and major percentage towards Kubernetes orchestration. (Amount of VMware’s Heptio acquisition is still undisclosed). This itself denotes the penetration and adoption of Kubernetes in modern data centers which are transitioning to support cloud native development and AI/Machine learning use cases.
