Calsoft organizes vaccination drive for employees and their kin

Pune [India], June 15, 2021: Calsoft, in collaboration with Symbiosis University Hospital & Research Centre, Lavale, organized a vaccination drive for its employees and their family members at its headquarters in Bavdhan, Pune. More than 250 people from the 18 to 44 age group were benefitted from the initiative and got the first jab of the Covishield vaccine.

“At Calsoft, the health and safety of our employees is our topmost priority. The key to curbing the infection is to get as many people vaccinated as early as possible. So, we ensured that our employees and their immediate family members get vaccinated in a quick, safe, and hassle-free manner. The vaccination drive was a great success, thanks to the team’s meticulous planning and dedicated efforts” said Sharmila Bhide, the CFO, CSO, Calsoft Inc.

The vaccination effort for those in the 18-44 age group has been slow, given the vaccine constraints. Many of Calsoft’s employees belonging to the age group have been facing issues acquiring vaccine doses. However, Calsoft’s vaccination drive, which was free for its employees, provided a smoother alternative and allowed them to skip the long, virtual lines.

“Securing an appointment was extremely difficult. All the available slots for vaccination on the CoWin portal were usually filled very quickly. This vaccination drive came as a great relief for all of us since the second wave of the pandemic was very serious and we were keen on getting vaccinated as quickly as possible. The whole process was very easy and all social distancing and safety precautions were followed. We got vaccinated in just 10-15 minutes” said a 35-year-old employee who got vaccinated at the drive along with two of his dependents.
