Leadership Team

Anupam Bhide

Prior to incorporating Calsoft Inc., Anupam led elite development teams at HP, IBM, and Oracle. Under his direction, the teams at Oracle designed key features for Oracle 8 and improved the scalability of Oracle 7. Before joining Oracle, he served as a Research Scientist at the IBM T. J. Watson Research Center, New York. Anupam holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California-Berkeley. He also has a master’s degree in science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a bachelor’s degree in technology from IIT-Mumbai.

Sharmila Bhide

Prior to co-founding Calsoft, Sharmila was a Product Manager at Oracle where she led the design of the Oracle Receivables application. She played a critical role in adding cross-product features to Oracle’s financial suites such as Oracle Payables and General Ledger. Before joining Oracle, Sharmila pioneered the development of an integrated portfolio management, accounting, and tax software package for hedge funds at Hedgeware. She holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Parag Kulkarni

Before joining Calsoft, Parag held key positions at Veritas (formerly Symantec), where he conceived the Database Edition Product for Windows and led its delivery through two product lines – Database Edition for Microsoft (R) Exchange Server and Database Edition for Microsoft (R) SQL Server. Prior to his role at Veritas, he was a key contributor to Informix Corporation’s line of database products, now acquired by IBM. Parag holds a master’s degree in computer science from IIT, Roorkee, and a bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Instrumentation from the University of Indore, India.

Anshul Bhide

Prior to Calsoft, Anshul was India Head for Replit where he focused on driving business development and growth. He has previously worked at Lightbox Ventures, Hopscotch, and Strategy& (formerly Booz & Co., now part of PwC). He has an MBA from MIT Sloan and a BSE from the University of Pennsylvania.

Uday Ketkar

With 27 years of experience in the IT services industry, Uday has a strong background in Infrastructure, Telecom, Retail, Utilities, and Manufacturing verticals. His extensive expertise ensures the smooth and efficient functioning of all operational aspects at Calsoft. Uday holds a master’s degree in computer management.

Pradipta Mitra

Working closely with Chief Product Officers and engineering leadership teams, Pradipta focuses on product engineering, digital transformation, and driving business transformation for technology clients. His leadership and strategic insights are pivotal in aligning sales strategies with business objectives, fostering growth, and enhancing client relationships.

Somenath Nag

Somenath held pivotal roles at companies like MindTeck, Trianz Consulting, Infogain, and Alten, developing & executing growth strategies. He supported product companies in Telecom, Healthcare, Retail, and HiTech with strategic outsourcing and digital transformation, managing large offshore teams and scaling new technologies. Somenath holds a master’s degree in applied mathematics from Jadavpur University and an Executive M.B.A. from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management.

Mandar Salvi

Mandar has a proven track record in building teams, strategic planning, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. He adeptly aligns technology initiatives with business goals to achieve sustainable growth and competitive advantage.

Vipin Shankar

He has built products in various domains, including Cloud-based EDA, Mobile Device Management, Storage, Disaster Recovery & High Availability, Security, and Network Management, and leveraged AI/ML to develop intelligent products and solutions. Prior to Calsoft, Vipin led product engineering teams at Globant, Motorola/Good Technology, Symantec, Veritas, and Saba Software. Vipin holds a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Pune.
