Calsoft was engaged with the customer for the development of a custom Terraform provider, Terraform templates, and Ansible Playbooks to automate the following workflows – ESXi deployment on Bare Metal servers, Hadoop cluster deployment, and K8s cluster deployment.
The engagement primarily involved:
Easing integration with the customer’s existing playbooks or terraform templates
Extending a generic Terraform provider for other workflows
Using automation to eliminate human error
Reducing the time required for provisioning
